PayTV & OTT Video Strategies (30 min)

We are in the midst of rapid change and intense competition in the consumer video market. Is offering a managed video service still important to broadband providers? Hear from members who have a clear position on Pay-TV and their approach for the near future. What is their strategy? How have some of the newer IP platforms available to members impacted the video business model? Is the broadband video bundle still vital? What are larger MVPDs like Comcast doing to address the changes in video?

Customer Experience Rises to the Top (30 min)

Customer engagement is changing, and not only because of COVID-19, but because customers’ expectations are continually evolving. What are the key areas members are focused on to improve the customer experience? Why has this become a top priority for some? What are examples of efforts members have recently launched, including the benefits, challenges, and lessons learned? Who are some of the tech service providers that are favored by members in this area?

Broadband Opportunities and Risks (40 mins)

Broadband is an important foundational business and is expected to change notably over the next few years. This session will help members consider the risk and opportunities that should be considered in the plans for the next few years. We will hear from members who have indicated their biggest opportunities are still in residential and commercial growth, but advanced services, like managed home WiFi and IoT are close behind. As far as challenges, increased competition is number one with network upgrades close behind. Whether it's 5G, fixed wireless or LEOs, several industry experts will share the latest developments in these new technologies. We'll also hear how some members are addressing the challenges of network upgrades needed to support broadband growth and consumer expectations. The session will end with an insightful 3-5 year look into the future of broadband from leading industry partners.
